X300 sedan engine change 4 cylinder ,better!
talk about changing times,, just viewed an X300 engine change!
from the 6 inline engine to a 4 cylinder turbo engine!
yes the guy pulled the out the Jag 6 , put in a Japanese Nissan 4cylinder 420 turbo , with manual shift, then shows off doing Donuts and Drifts!
he said much more power and dependable car, easier to work on also!

You should have started off telling us it was a russian video!
Garage54 does a lot of interesting things with cars. A lot of it is really cool stuff. It may not be the same site, but definitely worth checking out some of their videos such as:

You're welcome!

Most of their stuff is absolutely farcical like the "what if we replace piston rods with springs". We here on this forum all know about British humor so I thought it just may be Russian humor the way the "straight man" explains things so seriously. But every once in a while I do wonder "what if they had a budget to actually engineer that and do it with the right materials and equipment?" For instance, the use of repelling magnets for suspension like in a mag-lev train could make for an exquisitely smooth ride. It probably would take too much energy or weigh too much or just cost too much to be practical in an automobile otherwise Jaguar would have already done it. Still I would have endured a half a dozen commercials in the middle of their video to see them make that work.
Back to the original topic, as governments around the world clamp down on emissions and blindly target aging automobiles, I won't be a bit surprised to see people putting smaller turbo engines from more modern cars in their old classics if that's what it takes to keep driving them. Wealthy collectors will probably be able to just pay huge environmental penalty taxes but the average blue-collar enthusiast will be the one who has to improvise.
