We'll ive stripped the trunk out of my 89 3.6 xjs and for the life of me I can't find the fuel pump relay,this is driving me mad.the relay is not in the trunk,where the hell is is it .

In a 3.6 the ECU is under a board in the passenger footwell, so I think the fuel pump relay may be at the front of the car or in the dash somewhere, rather than in the boot.

Sorry man, realized after I took the pics that there was a possibility you aren't from the US. I just assumed and took LHD pics

John, just drop the under dash panel on the passenger side, (three or four self tappers) and you will see it.

i like how not only is it not in the same place as the V12, but in a totally different location between the RHD and LHD models...

Hi guys,finally found the fuel pump relay and ecu,which is under the front passenger footwell where yr put yr feet,gonna check relay,if that's good I've been told that the ecu plug sockets are prone to corrosion there,which could also be the problem with the fuel pump,
