XJS 1989 5.3 V12 nightMARELLI injection
Hi folks,
Need a bit of help, just finished installing my rebuilt engine after a valve seat fiasco, unfortunately I have noticed my flywheel sensor is a gonna! I have cross referenced the original marelli number to either DBC12507 or DBC12508? However there seems to be a lack of certainty as to which is the correct one? The late eighties early nineties seem to be the make do and mend eras with these cars!
Will either of the above be ok, if not what's the difference? Is it to do with resistance or 5.3 6.0 applications?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Neil.

Hi Neil
While they both do a similar job the one on the Front has the Wire hanging down, while the one at the Rear has the Wire coming out of the Sensor Head at an Angle, so that the Wire can connect to its plug, without being under a strain
Apart from that the Rear Sensor, can be half the price of the Sensor that goes on the Front! and since they both look so similar 'No I don't know why either'
