XJS 3.6 with Manual Trans looking for repair shop

I have a 1985 XJS 3.6 with a manual transmission that is leaking from the rear bushing (rear seal is new). This usually means the main shaft or it's bearings are bad or both. This has caused the rear buishing to wear allowing it to leak. Does anyone know of a shop that will work on a Getrag 265 / 5 speed transmission?? I can not find a local shop that will touch it. I live in Atlanta, Ga. but would ship it to get it repaired. I have found a shope in England but that is a long way!
Any advise is appreciated ...Thanks in advance...

Have any of the shops actually *looked* at the transmission? Or did they hear "Jaguar" and "Getrag" and assume is was something exotic?
I *think* the Getrag 265 is kissin' cousins with the "New Venture xxxx" -something or the other- that was used in lots of small USA trucks like S10s and such.
You (and they) might discover that the '265 isn't so odd after all. For another example I think (I'm almost positive, actually) the Getrag 290 (used in later Jags) is virtually the same as the New Venture 3550 which was used in Jeeps, Chevy Colorados, etc.
I can't swear that I'm right on any of this but it might be worth a little Googling and research.
Cheers
