I would also add that my battery failed shortly after this rebooting behavior, other fun things like transmission warnings and the battery running itself dead in four hours of sitting followed.
If there's any doubt, even if there isn't, suspect the battery first.
still did not fixed the misfire. Here a short movie of the engine running and misfiring when idle. Car is driving perfect with lot off power. Is a little slow on response when rev up.
When engine misfires I see the voltage needle dance and drop.
Thank you for the excellent responses! So the only item on my list could be the EGR....that could make sense here.
I thought you had replaced the crankshaft sensor! Definitely a great idea. You are almost completely through the list. I would have added MAF, but you would probably get bad results while driving as well as idling so I didn't think to add that on.
The Air Temp Sensor is mounted to that 90 plastic elbow between the MAF and the Throttle Body.
While you're checking, pull off the small hose at the fuel pressure regulator and make sure it's dry and doesn't smell of fuel, If its dry and clean, it's most likely fine.
I'm not sure what a misfire sounds like, but based off of the video, it sounds like the engine is being choked a little. That usually happens when you have a dirty throttle body, where the flat doesn't fully open or closed due to carbon build up. It's usually a very easy clean, remove the rubber boot cover and spray carburetor cleaner on a new rag, and clean around the cover flap. There should be videos on Youtube on how to do it as well.
Are you receiving any OBDII codes that would indicate an engine missfire?
Thanks for your reply. I cleaned The throttle body. It is perfect clean (see attachement)
still misfiring 😞
