I was redoing my dashboard and ended up breaking the light switch. It looks like I have two options either buy a used light switch or try to reinstall a universal on and off light switch. There are 4 wires in the back and not sure where to begin.
these switched suffer from what is essentially lack of use, and the electrical contacts inside get gummed up,
as said above, you can get them most places on ebay , i even have spares i could sell if your in need from the UK
but i would first try operating the switch at least 50 times to see if the fault persists, even then i would pry off the contact cover and spray with electrical contact cleaner, this usually works, but some fluid can end up in the switch 'window' ,
the rest of the switches will possibly need some similar treatment to ensure correct operation ,

any help would be greatly appropriated.
I took a peak at the photos and can't see what's broken. Also, I don't think your model year is included in your profile. For me who only knows my MY, and not much at that, knowing the MY helps too.
