This is all I got
I'm sorry, when I did mine in the earliest days of working on this thing, I didn't know the value of a photo record. I only have one. Thing is, you pretty much have to disassemble the whole thing (from memory) and get to the place where you find the shaft, coming from the motor on one end, thru the central assembly (the section with the hoes attached) out and thru to the mechanicals of the pump and into the tank side. See photo. The photo, I believe, is on the side that the tank is secured to a face plate that isn't captured in this photo... You may be able to find an exploded view of this pump searching online.
That central semi round is the pump shaft. Mind those bearings, the gears, note orientation etc. Work on a towel as there will be fluid and, more importantly, the two little very specific bearings will want to take a trip into the great unknown. The seal (again from memory) is exact and is sandwiched between two EXACTing flat and smooth washers on the opposite side/face of what is seen in this picture. Get the top washer off, old seal out, leave one washer - the "bottom" in place (unless you want to clean and polish) and then put everything back together. The pressure exerted by the bolts that secure everything (again from memory) will slightly pinch and flatten the rubber seal and BAM! Sealed unit.
Now, I'm terrrrrible with small fiddly things and if I could do it (with my own mishaps cause by being a brute) anyone can.
Your washers and the seal will be found on the back side (if I'm not mistaken) of this assembly...

After reading other narratives, these pictures, and well as your narrative is a big help.
