I only have experience of a pre-facelift. But on a pre-facelift you do not need to remove the dash to change the blowers, just remove the knee/shin level trim. The blowers on pre-facelifts are held in by two bolts and long brackets, but once the brackets are removed, you need to open the sprung-closed flaps on the bottom of the blowers to release the top flap from the bodywork flange to actually remove the blower unit.
Obviously this is easier dash out and steering column out, but it is worth having a go before you do remove it. Facelift owners may be kind enough to correct me!

Hi yes I did bypassed the Darlington transistor circuit, blower fans work when full voltage is apply, the main fault is the over all design, You have a control circuit exposed to moist air from the AC unit. Over time water drops build up on the open unprotected circuit.
If only Jaguar had this circuit cover from moist air. the control circuit will last,
I have used and design analog circuits for 30 years, this beat the over all worst location I have seen,
So I have order two rebuild blower, Next I spend a weekend replacing them. I will take picture and video showing how easy I hope or hard to remove units
