XJS Door Glass Thingies?
#2
Sadly they are not an individual part BUT a part of #1 the window itself... On my XK8, just last week actually, the same part fell off/detached from the glass and I had to epoxy it make on... Thankfully, the old glue was still there so lining things up when glueing the part back on wasn't guess work.

They are not replaceable, or they would be separate parts on the drawing.
I have a original Triplex drivers window left over from my 94 project.
Condition is like new.
Waiting to find it a new home.
Offers welcome offline please.
Since I'm never at the computer please call or text me before 4 PM @ 650-455-1110.
Thanks,Stephen D'Angelo

This may be a dumb suggestion at this point but,,, that (what in the photo) looks like the rubberized adhesive that holds the item of topic. Looks like it fell or ripped off. Are you sure that it's not down in the door somewhere or still attached to it's runner/guide. Where would it have gone? Often, if sitting down there in the bottom of the door if it fell off, or even while it's still rightly attached to the glass, they can get mucky,,, covered up and pretty well camouflaged down in the bowls and recesses of the door cavity... Just a suggestion.

Jay,
As suspected, the various shards and crumbs were in the driver's door abyss. Nothing big enough to be reconstituted into usable pieces. Not even enough to make a mold...
The passenger side thingies are hopefully in better shape, but that abyss is full of glass nuggets from a prior window and the current window is stuck in the "up" position.
Good Times!

The items were purchased from a kind-hearted veteran member whom you know and love.
I now could use a couple of the window guide "trolleys" that are shown as part of number 8 in the above parts pic. Three roller bearings that ride in the guide, all apparently bedded in some vile kryptonite epoxy that wouldn't dissolve in several solvents, wouldn't come out by chipping/picking, wouldn't melt, wouldn't burn, and wouldn't disassemble. Buggers!
