I recently bought a 1990 XJS and the panel underneath the steering wheel tends to fall off and land on your leg while your driving. The clips that hold it on have worn and I need to find replacements. Does anyone have a reliable source or fix for this? Also I live in arizona so adhesives are kind of out of the question. On mine there is also a place (from memory) that the under dash section bolts into the car. Some sort of fastener. Mine is a convertible and there are differences. Between the bolt in hardware and the clips (is this that large fairly thick bolstet-ish piece?) That might do ya... Then, there is the strategically placed zip tie method, lol. Thank goodness for zip ties... Just saved the day in re-upholstering my seats.
