In terms of this ride height.
This is what I did to my front suspension. Remove cradle and replace lower bushings (C8673U) and ball joints. Replace upper bushings ( these are the original bushing part number ( CAC9295 if I recall ) no upgrade. And ball joints. I purchased upgrade and installed. During install they just didn't look right. The upper original bushings are a very nice design. So IMO don't need modernizing. Original springs and spacer. Original shocks. So as you can see not much for change except disassembly and reassembly.
I also installed a new larger sway bar. Which will add some resistance until friendly. My ride is not on the road ( or just enough to mess with the neighbors ) so do you folks after some miles still have a higher front ride height?
Do you think in the upper spring area there is a notch? A spot where the upper coil sits. I never looked I assumed the area is flat. Will be looking soon.
With all the changes my original electrical system the original alternator was not performing so just purchased a 180 amp ( direct bolt in 140 amp idle ). Getting next week will keep you posted.
The front suspension bushing mods. If you are interested in giving them a try. Just let me know. Q only makes on demand ( and really his name is Q).

The are where the top of the spring seats in slightly conical....similar to the seat seen on the lower spring pan. The spring slides over the 'cone' (such as it is) and is centered-up and seated along the way. I'm not sure if it's even possible to make a mistake as far as that goes.

High Output Alternators & High Torque Starters
They appear ( will see ) to have a direct bolt in. I purchased a Power master 160amp to go in the place of the air pump. All was fine till I installed my coolant tank for my new single pass radiator then the spot was no longer available. Had to go back to original spot. Spoke with them on Wednesday, all shipped all good. Now let's see.
So I have a new Power master alt with aluminum pulley that has no home.
I have probably said it before but I have a bunch of stuff I would love to sell or trade. And some of our new prototype items are always available for more scrutiny.

Sorry don't mean to confuse. The linkhttp://www.qualitypowerauto.com/ is the alt I'm waiting for. The Power master reference is an alt I purchased awhile back.
