Nice project - (weird seeing the ute with a jap motor in it too!). What year model is your dad's xjs. From what I understand the xjs has a PCD of 120.68x5 rather than the much more common (in Australia anyway) 120x5. I was considering changing hubs to make wheel selection easier as I want to go down the 10" wide rears in an 18" wheel, but am struggling to find wheel suppliers who sell blank wheels.

Be interested to hear your thoughts.

1400whp, 48lbs boost. made top speed 247mph, even toyota was surprised!

my 78 XJS uses from the factory, a standard Chevy bolt pattern.

i did not know that XJS had other types of wheel bolt pattern!

in my garage pix, my xjs has 18" ENKI 10"wide rear 9" wide frts, Nitto all around

I like it. The 2JZ-GTE is perfect. It's a twin-cam straight 6 like most Jag engines. But what are you doing to beef-up the rear end? I think you said you were making a new suspension (earlier post).
