warrjon, can you imagine what a factory stock AUDI V12 diesel ,6L ,twin turbo ,twin I/Cs, would be like in an XJS, GM 4L80E, trans. 1000lbs lighter weight car than the tank it comes in.
factory 500hp, 700lbs ft, just a remap, 650hp, 850 torque, smooth quiet, ECONOMICAL!
sounds like a good plan to me! to build a Jag V12 to those specs would cost as much anyway, and not really as dependable. a 500 hp jag would require special fuel also.
