Driver's seat back stuck

Hi all,
Got a problem on my (2007) XKR and wondered if anyone has seen this before?
I can not get the driver's seat back to move upwards and it means I'm driving from an uncomfortable reclined position.
All the other movements seem to work ok, just not the back "up" i.e. more upright.
I was wondering if it just needs resetting somehow or if the seat module has failed?![Icon Shrug](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_shrug.gif)
Thanks,
Graham.

was this an issue before of after? I would do a hard reset again, disc battery terminals and hold them together for 10-30 sec and reconnect cleanly. Ive had cars that 1 reset didnt work and after trying to diag everything lese, did another hard reboor and voila', success. Especially since the battery went flat as you said, and go buy a battery tender to keep the car plugged into when you let it sit. I price some yesturday at Batteries plus for $29

Unfortunately it's out of warranty so I had to pay for it.
Luckily I only got charged for half an hour's work rather than the "minimum one hour charge for diagnostic work, so that would be £98+VAT (i.e. £117.60) Sir".
Would have been a lot more if they'd found a 'real' fault though.
Graham.
