Default Mystery of water getting collecting behind passenger seat

Hi there Friends, my convertible XK has been collecting water in only one spot in the car, behind the passenger seat. I first assumed I hed a problem with my soft top but after several weeks without rain the water was still collecting there, I used a wet vac several times to get the water out but it comes back, anyone there with similar issue??

Welcome to the forum Obeilson Matos,

I've moved your question from Jaguar Forums Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center forum to XK/XKR forum. The Advice / Feedback section is not for tech questions but members here will be able to help with the soft top issue.

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Interesting... Hope some Vert owners chime in soon...
All early XK's ('07 - '09) were susceptible to the AC drain tube getting blocked and filling the front passenger floorboard with water, but I have not heard of only the rear...

I haven't seen any water there myself but I notice the carpet behind the back seat looked dirty for no reason. I'm going to get it shampooed this week. It didn't feel damp or anything.

My hunch it is the AC drain tube too, but for whatever reason the water is showing up more aft than normally.

A local Jag dealer gave me a sweetheart deal on fixing the right way, perhaps there's a dealer near you willing to do the same? It's a big job, but necessary...
