I just bought the complete wheel as its an option of the XKR/S just make sure you get the right one for the XKR the part number is C2P23661. It should be here early next week and I will take it to the dealer to have it replaced. They quoted 150 for a remove and replace.
Now anyone looking for Black Piano interior pieces FYI they have been discontinued and the warehouse is out of the passenger side piece.

They do seem that way, which would be a good thing. Wouldn't hurt if they were just slightly further out of accidental finger range, too. I have a bad habit of clipping the paddle by accident, and finding myself stuck in one gear. How do they compare, MaximA?

Who did you order your shifters from for $400? Best price I see is $500.

They are actually a few mm further out at as well, which is great. The part number is T2R6547MMU

I just drove to Jupiter and back for the Historic races and used paddles the entire time.. I love the feel of the aluminum! Unfortunately I also got a hefty speeding ticket on the turnpike At least I have a few friends that are lawyers that will take care of it... ugh but I suggest the paddles of you prefer to paddle shift.

Yikes, I hope your lawyer friend can fix the ticket.
They look more substantial. Any part that requires you to handle it often should be made of a quality material such as carbon fiber or aluminum. What would you think if the car interior door pulls were plastic? Jaguar should have made them all with aluminum. Even my GT-R has aluminum shifters.
How much larger are they? I use my shifters all the time. Can you take a picture of your old shifter along side of the new one so we can see the difference? I'd like my shifters to be a bit larger.

I called him 5 minutes after it happened and he said not worry about.. I haven't had a ticket in 10 years so hopefully that helps.
They are just thicker and more substantial in feel. They are taller at the top and just feel thicker on the sides. Its also a much nicer shift as its not bending like the plastic.
