Default 07 Jaguar XK Bluetooth Connectivity Issues

Currently working on a 2006 Jaguar XK. Having trouble connecting any Bluetooth devices to the vehicle. Figured it was a module issue so replace it and still having the same issue. Pressing the phone button on the touch screen. It says "No phone found" "would you like to search for a new phone now?" Clicking yes does nothing. There are three greayed out tabs that list"digital dial" "names" "last 10". I've tried several devices and none of them pick up the Jaguar Bluetooth signal. On the module there is a sloth for an antenna that is plugged in. I see the receiver for the nav and radio behind the back seat. Is the receiver for the Bluetooth behind the infotainment system? Does anyone else have any way to resolve this issue?

It appears that you're in the wrong Forum. This is the X150 Forum, for 2007 - 2015 aluminum XK and XKR models.

Your 2006 XK is the previous X100 model - the XK8, and that Forum is here.

I'm not so sure. Bluetooth was an option only on later X100's so not that common and it was fitted inside the centre console. I suspect that DarkCusp has a 2006 / MY2007 X150. Like the X100 optional system, I would suspect that the early X150 Bluetooth system is now obsolete and might be unable to connect to most newer phones.

Richard,
You're in the UK and would be right if DarkCusp was also in the UK, but he's not. He's in the USA, where the 2006 model year is the X100 XK8, as shown in his Public Profile.
