Thanks Guy,and Thanks Graham, I'm an old school driver new to the Jag game, figuring out the qerks and how she werks. Thank u gentlemen alot!!

 

Ambient temperature will obviously be a factor but I don't think I have ever heard the fan stay on once the engine is off on my '10 XKR and maybe only a couple of times after a fast run on my '07 and even then that may have been because the fan trigger speed was lowered in the tune.

At home in England the fans on my previous 2007 and current 2014 XK's always go off with the ignition. I've had both cars down to the Mediterranean with temperaturs in the 90's F and both would run on for a while.

My earlier XK8's and X308 tended to run on even in England on slightly warm days.

Thanks, I'm in sweltering Louisiana right now,humidity is on 1000,summer months are brutality hot here,
