Default 07 xkr passing gear

At 50 mph when I get on it it seems to only drop down 1 gear and only hits 3500 , is this right? Lower speeds rpms much higher, and yes this is dsc Trac mode.

Give a pull on the left paddle, if it goes down another gear then it's possible. These cars learn driver patterns and adapt to them.
Maybe do a hard reset and then drive the **** outa it for awhile, it'll learn that you want to beat on it.

Yep. above 3500 it'll just pull in the next lower gear. Whack the shifter over and you'll get another and it won't want to upshift. Drop in a set of 3.58's and it's not a big deal.

I think he means to change the gear ratio in the 4.2L diff, which is not an ediff, so fairly straightforward.

Ah... I've messed with my differential enough. I'm not going to do anything else to it unless I'm forced to.

I see you are in DSC track mode. Do you also have the shifter in the "S" setting for sport? If you want the car to hold revs, shifting it into S is a must.
