I have had this service done on 3 jags (03 XKR, 07 XK, and 11 XJL 5L). It ran about $700-$900 pre-covid. And that was from dealer.

My dad used to tell me to never change more than half of any trans fluid because it could mess stuff up.
Learned that lesson the hard way, many years ago on an aging Pontiac. Had the fluid changed, ran like crap. Had the tranny rebuilt, still ran like crap. Had a replacement installed, it broke. Another replacement installed, a more heavy duty version from a different model car, was finally drivable again.
