Default 1/4mi in my First ever Jag 08 KXR Convertible

Hello to all!
After having been a long fan of BMW and Mercedes cars I have decided to try the Jag, Fell for its unique looks. Bought a one owner babied 08 XKR Convertible with 67k miles on the clock.

Ran my first quarter mile at a Las Vegas Drag Strip. With My gf in the car (+100lb) did 13.35 with 105.8mph 1/4mi. Turns out its a slower track due to high elevation. Calculated Density altitude was closer to 3800ft. 06 XLR Cadillac racing with me that night did his best of 13.7 vs his best time at a different track of 13.1, So I guess the Jag didnt to too bad.
Thinking of possibly tuning it for some extra hp..

Welcome aboard. IMHO XKRs are more fun in the twisties. Try it you'll like it.

When Car and Driver tested the new '07XKR they did 13.0 in the quarter; so under the conditions you had I would say she runs pretty well. Enjoy.

Glad to see another drag racer here. There's no truer test of power than a drag race! My 2007 XKR ran a 12.7 at sea level. Its a lot of fun seeing what these cars can do!

13.9 @101.5mph in a 4.2 xk - 36c (95f)

Could probably get it down to a 13.7 in good conditions
