Default 10 XK question

thinking about going to look at a coupe, I like my 01 convertible but it is hard for me to sit in. I am 6' 2" and my had will hit the headliner and I have to duck to see traffic lights.

Does the 10 coupe have more head and leg room?

If I was you, I'd just find a Jag dealer or some 2010 models somewhere and go try them out.

I took my wife to an independent dealer who had an X Type, S Type, X308, and X350 all in a row so that she could see the differences first hand.

All the XK coupes regardless of year have the same headroom. Since there's no sunroof, the headliner is pretty tight. I think you'd fit.

I had a 97xk and 00xk convertible, Now have 09 xk convert and 10 coupe. I am 6'3". Definitely more room in newer models. You should have no problems. Not only more headroom but much more front seat space all around. Besides that there is no comparison in the improvements in the vehicle they have made! Much better and more reliable vehicles. Go for it!

I have a 2010 XK coupe and am 6'1' - no problem at all. I had a 99 coupe, and it was too tight in head and leg-room. I could never get really comfortable but kept the car 13 years because I loved everything else about it. Like "bobdr1" said above, there is definitely a lot more room in the newer XKs. My feeing is that with the increased head-room/leg-room and the 16 way adjustable seats, you ought to be able to get comfortable in the 2010 XK coupe.

The figures for headroom in the X100 coupe is 37.4", and in the X150 it's 38.2". Having gone from an X100 to an X150 I have to say it seems a bigger difference than that.

And legroom up from 43.0" to 45.1".

I'm 6'4 250 lbs and my 2012 with performance seats fits me. But I wouldn't want to be even a half-inch taller...

Now post a pic of that 'Cuda!
