100,000 mile horsepower gain
My 2008 xk runs great, no issues with the engine.
I used to run redline gas treatment through my engines every 5~6 I miles but hadn't done so on new to me 2008 xk.
So I did run one bottle through and did not notice any change...I really don't know why, but I ran a second bottle through the next fill.up...last evening while passing a car that decided he didn't want to be passed I pushed the car a bit harder than normal. I was @ 100mph still accelerating, noticed a surge in power @ 5500rpm and the car kept pulling quite strongly. I finished my pass @ 130 and kept thinking @ the power surge.
Today I'm driving to lunch and the car absolutely feels stronger, not a lot but noticable. On the way home I punched it in 2 & 3 and that same extra urgency starts @ 5500.
Is my engine getting ready to hand gernade or did the red line clean something?
Hoping it cleaned.

My guess is the Redline treatment really did make a difference and I'm guessing you used the Redline SI-1 Fuel System Cleaner.
A couple of years ago I did a lot of research on fuel additives / fuel system cleaners and especially those that claim to clean the injectors and combustion chambers, and the general consensus was that the best / most effective cleaning ingredient was PEA (polyether amine).
I then tried to find out the PEA concentrations of the well known/easiest to find/best priced fuel additives and very few of them stated what the PEA content was, if any.
The product with the highest stated PEA content was Redline SI-1 Fuel System Cleaner, at around 20% IIRC, and it was readily available from eBay etc at a reasonable price, so I bought a couple of bottles. I have been using it for the last couple of years in my F-Type which runs great but it has always run great so the most I can say is the additive has possibly prevented the build up of carbon deposits on the injectors or combustion chambers or in the fuel lines.

Also the PCM's adaptive meaning it will adjust it's response based on observing driver input. Drive like an old lady on Sunday's and it'll maintain higher gears and less throttle, drive it like a race car and it'll become more responsive and unlock more power.
I too researched PEA additives and found Gumout list's it PEA percentages in it's SDS sheets.... with Regane High Mileage having 10-30% PEA
