Well, my paranoia goes up exponentially when I see 12K miles and 4 (!) owners, the last 3 of which occurred since 2019 (15 mos and 11 mos). But the CFax and maintenance record mileage seems to track. Pics look good.
I can see they're in serious buyer bidding though. Wonder what it'll close out at?

Every damn bushing in the car is reaching end of life after 15 years. Of course Minnesota isn't hot and dry, so they might be in better shape.

It was driven only on Sundays by a little old lady a quarter-mile at a time!

I watched this auction closely since my car should come up sometime next week on BAT. The car looks quite good EXCEPT for those wheels!! One of the bidders did mention that oem wheels would cost $650 each IF you could find them. The bidding held at $26,000 overnight and then two bidders fought it up to $33,500 NOT including the 5% buyer's auction premium. Apparently, the mileage made all the difference in this sale. Makes me wonder what it would have done without the wheels?

The same price, at that level the bidders weren't being rational. I bet the seller is going to have a nice celebratory dinner this evening.

I was checking out car gurus and others recently, there is a softening of the market.

It's hard to believe that somebody paid about 40% of its original price in 2007. Just in the bushing replacements, assuming they're necessary after 15 years, that's another two or three k. Of course if the buyer's DIY, and he does his own press-in's, it's probably about 5-6 hundred bucks for the bushings alone if they find OEM substitutes for Jags ridiculous pricing.

Not for this forum but there's an 08 XJ8 here locally going for $29,900 with 4900 original miles. Bushings fluid changes and hoses will raise that up a few more grand.
Perdy car but I see nothing but trouble from an unused vehicle.
