Default 15-Spoke Wheels on 2010 XK Convertible

On 10/06, I posted a thread asking about 15-spoke wheels as a stock option on XK. I was incorrect in the description of my wheels. They are 19-inch wheels apparently the Whitley model. Also equipped with Michelin Pilot-Sport AS-3 245/40/R19 Front and 275/35 size on rear. Were these ever stock optiuons on this car? See pics of wheel and vehicle. Thanks.

They're not OEM Jaguar wheels. They're sold exclusively by Coventry Wheels. https://www.coventrywheels.com.
Whitley is just one of several designs.

What a cleaning nightmare.
Despite what the gross bolts LOOK like, it makes for a MONSTER cleaning experience.
No thanks. I'd not take those wheels on a dare.

Agreed, fake bolts and multi-spoke make for a cleaning nightmare...but it is Halloween soon so sort of seasonal

Assuming you mean cool, and there is no further meaning to this new word, such as 'those chaps look kewl'
It does look correct on the darker colors, as the awkward but necessary lower grill does not compete as much aesthetically with the absolute focal point of the car, the iconic oval aviation inspired intake. It also tones down the acres of chrome.
Basically, the original designer (Malcolm Sayer) would not have used a small oval if he also needed a second grill. Its simply odd and conflicting. A problem corrected subsequently.
Here is all the visual aid on one page. Zagato's Ghost: Malcolm Sayer

Yes just demonstrating that I'm multilingual English/American/Street

I was enquiring as have never ever seen different colour grills on an XK here in the UK, and appreciate that XK sales were higher here than over in the US by circa 20% from 2007+

It was actually standard on the XK in 2010 and 2011. Most of the ones on EBAY are like it as well.

It must be a country specific thing (as some colours are) as looked at all of the 46 x XKR's for sale on autotrader UK (plus the 23 on UK ebay) and all had the same finishes on both grills. So unless all of them had been modified by their owners that's how they came here.

Am going to guess that NZ sales were a fraction for those MY's was a fraction of the UK's 5000 for those 2yrs and it was to appeal to your market?

You learn sommat new every day!

Dont make it any harder for guys like me.
It was challenging enough dealing with the polar opposite meanings between the continents.
Then new street slang uses lovely words you grew up with for entirely nefarious and indignant purposes. Its as if its evolving to be unkind.

You wrote "mod/rice" not familiar with rice, is that like 'ricer'?

That is a UK brochure and I was talking about the UK EBAY. Have a look at the XK's not the XKR's

Spring chicken you are, you had to have been conceived in spring.
Race inspired cosmetics- I suppose they dont see the hilarity in that.
Then again our generation put Turbo stickers on everything they wanted to make faster.
