Default 2 cats in the driveway

Hi everyone,

I am finally decided. I just bought a 2nd cat. It's a brand new AWD XJL 2014 black on black.
BIG diifference compare to the XKRS. 2 completely different animals. Soooo smouth. I was sure that the city just paved the road to my house. No more pothole or anything. Plus, the Meridian sound system is awesome. Don't really need music with the exhaust of the XKRS, but in that can of limo, it's a must.

I'm pretty surprise by the ride and the power even with 200 less HP then the XKRS. For that size of car, it's very good. Enough for the winter anyways.

It will be a dylema for the next month to choose on the morning wich car to drive until I store the convertible for 7 months....

Portfolio edition, Meridian Sound system, Active lights, Polish Wheels, Electric screen in the back window, and AWD has it's my winter car.

Only problem: I wasn't aware that the back seats do NOT fold!!! Big problem! My bike don't fit in and my skis will be a problem too :-(((

Congratulations (bike issue aside). The XJ is a very impressive looking car, especially in black (though it looks good in silver too, IMO). I had black on black in the second XF (which did have fold down seats!) and I liked the combo.

Is that a V8 or a V6?? I'm jealous!

Very few sedans in this category have folding rear seats. If you want folding rear seats, a Honda Accord is probably more suitable!

I believe the XJ AWD only comes with the 3.0 V6.

NO! The rep told me there is an electronic module in the back of the seat,

Bike rack on the roof would look bad on that car...

I wil lhave to use my wife's Chevy to charge the byke OR remove the 2 wheels on the bike:-(( Not realy interresting to have the chain loose in the trunk....

It's the V6. The only engine available with the AWD. Not as performant as the 5 l I have in my XKRS, but OK for a winter car. The XKRS is a much purer beast, but not really interresting in winter up north here.

The XJL must be a beautiful car to take on a road trip. Congratulations, they belong together.

Congrats on a beautiful car. Best interior I have ever seen. And black disguises the black sail panels that frame the rear window. I don't quite understand why Jaguar chose not to make them the same color as the rest of the body, but with black, all is good. Enjoy!

And by the way, I have three cats at my house, so you're short one.

I'll work on that! Maybe the next SUV for my wife?
