Default 2007 to 2013 Seat Upgrade faults - issues

Hi Everyone,
I have read through a lot of the threads and had some great advice and wiring instructions from Cambo but wondered if anyone could give and advice, help or pearls of wisdom on this please. I have a 2007 XKR and have updated the seats to the wingback 2013 versions. David Grantley who has been brilliant has done this for me although this a first for him. When he first tested the seats everything worked fine straight away and now the drivers side seat will only move a couple of cm forwards and backwards when the button is pressed and the passenger seat back wont tilt forwards or backwards. We have had a Jag tech look at calibrating them, tried doing a reset on the seat modules with by taking the fuses out (the back tilt motor made a noise following doing this but didn't move) It has got to the point of scratching our heads so thought I would ask on here as I cant find anything that covers it directly and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks Paul

How good/old is your battery?
You get strange faults with the car when the battery voltage is getting low.

Were the seats ever calibrated through SDD. We have done the conversion on my 4.2 cambo did all the additional wiring and calibration whilst I had to swap out all ten motors and modules they were fried

When I did this very mod (on MY10, seats from XKRS MY12) I decided to use original (lux seats) harness inside seats and my original seat modules. Everything works just fine (except seat heating, which I left for winter time to sort out). So definitely doable.

Thanks Peter I have asked that question and tested the battery as sometimes its the simple things that can be an issue, with everything else working on the seats with the exception of 2 movements we think its not the power to them that the problem. Appreciate you taking the time to get back to me Thank you Paul

Thanks Steve, Cambo has been brilliant info wise and I believe your were the submarine ones with a shifty seller. They look great in the car and thanks for taking the time to reply.

Thanks Tmich we have gone with the existing seat modules as well, its just weird that they have 1 fault on each seat which is different. We are going to test the motors as Cambo advised powering them directly and see it that works. Thanks for taking the time to reply and they will look a 100 times better than the original ones once they are sorted.

That is me , test the motors as cambo suggested that's exactly what we did .
the tilt motor is the only motor which can't be bought second hand and only purchased though the manufacturer in Rotterdam I'll send through the details if you need it
