2007 antenna alternative

I've read posts about alternatives for the huge and noisy whip antenna on the 2007's but they all have some downsides.
Has anybody tried replacing the satellite radio (or GPS?) trunk mounted antenna with a shark fin? From what I've read, a shark fin can supply signals for all the radios.

i pulled the fuse on my 07 so the antenna no longer goes up, it's ugly i think. Radio and sat nav, etc all work fine. I intend to remove the antenna holder and get it filled and sprayed sometime soon. You can get a marine antenna and connect it to the original and hide it in the boot. Just pull the fuse if you don't want it up, after a while you'll not even remember ii was there, everything still will work.
As far as i can remember it's fuse 4 , 10 amp, just does antenna. Located between the rear seats, just pull out centre part between rear seats and you see the fuse box, then pull the fuse.
Another thing you can do when there is pull fuse 19, seems to be the common thing to do now , it leaves your exhaust valves open all the time, great noise, gives the car a deeper roar all the time, will not damage anything, if you feel it's to loud just pop fuse back in.

This is the type of shark fin antenna that I'm wondering about, as a replacement for the antenna on the rear deck:
Beat-Sonic® - Shark Fin Antennas
However, I'll try pulling the fuse first.

Pulling the fuse is the better idea!
