There is a push fit stud that also holds the unit it situ once the nuts have been removed. It is towards the pointed end of the unit. It’s tempting to prise it off as this stud can stick a little if it has been in place for a while.
I just recently changed one of my brake lights as this stud held a little.
So perhaps one of those rubber suckers , the things that can stick to a wall to hold a small towel on , might be useful .
I was aware of the stud so I was careful. I didn’t think till afterwards about using a rubber sucker. So next time as I have a few in the shed.👍
