2007 XK - anticipated service problems
#21
When I did mine, they did both dash and rugs, then put the rugs and a few other pieces in a heating booth to ensure no mold would start. They took many pictures of each step. I miss the days of the stand alone Jag dealers. Was good dealer; they do performance tuning and stand by it.
That dealer went away as they weren't JLR dealer.

Bought mine in Dallas last September with 25k miles. Always garaged and excellent shape mechanically. Problems I am dealing with are:
1. Broken radio antenna....it would not go down completely and got broken in a car wash.
2. Bluetooth will not connect my 2 cell phones. Looking into new upgrades or newer FoMoCo parts.
3. Replace missing plastic parts. Its like this car was used as a parts car for awhile. Missing covers under hood, a few screws, inside mirror cover, and trunk battery cover. One I have is for a convertible not a coupe.
4. Had speakers upgraded and tech broke the tweeter in drivers door. They replaced it free.
Its got 32k miles on it after 5 months of ownership. Drove it home from Dallas, then to Norfolk, then down to Savannah with side trip to Atlanta. Love, love, love it...…..fast sporty, and gets looks from everyone everywhere!!! Even at grocery store had guys in parking lot taking photos of it.

2. You’ll find them on Ebay.
3. Check with auto breakers for the larger parts, you’ll find several if you search this forum. The screws etc can probably be found at ClipsAndFasteners (a site named something like that).
