Default 2007+ XK/R Available in Racing Green?

I don't think I've ever seen one in Racing Green. Only the Emerald Fire and Botanical Green. Anyone ever see one in Racing Green?

Jaguar of Great Neck, NY had a 2007 XKR in B.R. Green/Caramel for sale early this year.

I was told by a dealer that the Emerald Fire is a modified BRG color. It is BRG in the shade but, due to the pearl particles added, sparkles in the sunshine.

I wish they'd do a solid BRG green like on the old E-Types.

Me too. I don't want the sparkles.

I believe the 1997-2006 XKs had a solid BRG color.

07 is the only year in the new body style that British Racing Green in available. 08 up has a modified version called Jaguar Racing Green with has more metallic in it. My car is BRG and was one of it's plus points in my purchase.

My recent purchase of a 2007 XKR coupe is in BRG, with Caramel interior. I think it's a true classic combination.
Will try to post a pic as well.

They are not in the "true" sense. Are they nice looking? Indeed. Outside of the classic BRG of the 60's, l love the green of the XK in "Die Another Day". I've seen the car in person and the paint really looks fantastic. Why Jag did not mimic it must be a regret.

Here is another pic of my 2007 XKR in BRG. It reall is a deep, dark green.

I wonder what it looks like in direct sunlight.

I'm thinking something like this would look great on an XKR:

You can look in my garage on here. There are several pics of my car with caramel interior. It looks nearly black. My local dealer didn't even know they came that color for one year. They thought it was Jaguar Racing Green. That dealer is known for not being too smart. Good luck in your search. I gave 35k for this one with 30k miles on it.

Thanks for the great pics! I was wondering what my car would look like in a rag top. Beautiful!

Fantastic. I think that IS the color I want. To avoid confusion when I'm car shopping later, is BRG the only green color available for 2007 models?

The Botanical Fire is practically black in most lights. In bright sunlight, there's no question it's a deep green, and it has the Xiralac paint additive -- it's VERY sparkly in the sun. BRG is not only minus the sparkly, but is lighter than the Botanical Fire.

Can you get Botanical Fire with a tan top? I only seem to see green tops. When I eventually downgrade to daily driving an X150 from my X100, I'd look for one in that color.

For some reason I really don't like the tan interior on the XK. In tan, it looks much less luxurious than it does in black. Then again, black interior in a convertible in the summertime can be a big pain. Literally.

My local jag dealer in NC has a 2007 XKR in BRG which is the same as my brother in laws E type, the car is beautiful and prob the best XKR I has seen it has 27000 miles on it, the problem they want $48 for it! Wow that's a lot yes prob it's one of only a very small number as it is a coupe, but $48k at $35-40k I may of been interested!
