2007 XKR Convertible
Hi,
Here s a 2007 XKR convertible for sale that popped up on my automated AutoTrader search notification.
This car is not for me but perhaps it is for another forum member. All I know about it is what is in the ad.
Again, this car is not for me but I also admit that I am still not 100% knowledgeable about the 2007-2015 X150 versions. Can someone explain to me what "with phase shifting cams. Staggered setup." might mean?
This car appears to have been "road hard and put away wet." Half-tread on rear tires, replaced front brake rotors...hmm, I wonder why?

Phase Shifting Cams just means Variable Valve Timing, or VVT. Rotors would be replaced either every or every other brake change.
This thing has Adaptive Cruise Control! That was a $5k option! Too bad the Leaper on the hood removes any added value from THAT. Maybe it was just glued on? Fixing a hole is expensive.
It doesn't look bad to me at all, other than the "weaved aluminum" interior parts, but those are easily remedied.
For $12,000, that looks like one heck of a deal, IF there is nothing wrong with it.
