2008 Portfolio revisited...
Hi all,
Am buying a 2008 XKR Portfolio (Convertible) with 3k miles on it. $82k.
Purportedly in mint condition...I think it's a good deal any thoughts?
Also - anyone know the part # of the USB/IPod accessory dealer is claiming ignorance and I want to spoon feed him.
Thanks,
Suresh.

[sm=welcomesign.gif].. to the forum; I love my Portfolio coupe.........
sadly; that is the lowest price I've seen; if I were you, I'd take it and run... you won't be sorry!!!!!!
The last time I asked my dealer about Ipod interface I also got the 'blank stare' reaction.........

RE: 2008 Portfolio revisited...
I've had my 2008 XKR for about a month now, had the IPOD interface put in about 3 weeks ago, works great. It's called an Audio Connectivity Module, ACM. I think the part number is C2S 44674.
If your in the U.S., let me know and I can give you the phone number to the dealer I bought the car from and had the ACM installed.

RE: 2008 Portfolio revisited...
I paid approx. $500, however, I checked around and the dealers prices ranged anywhere from $400 to $650. You can also get it done at any car stereo installation store, they would have charged me $200 for the parts and install.
I just went ahead for convenience and bought it at the dealer, that way it's covered under the warranty, etc.
Call a couple of dealers to find out what their charging and go from there.
Good luck!!
