I'm afraid I'll have to cut this connector off for me to get sound!? Doing some homework and looked at the schematics of the infotainment and know that these are the one's I need as I have the base audio unit.
On the android unit the speaker wires are color coded, white, grey, green and purple. Four are solid colour and four have a black line. Which of them is the positive? Sent a question to vendor asking which colour goes where and also about speakers not plug and play if you have base audio system!
Hi Peter. The 12 pin connector are the speaker wires, correct. The connector is identified as IP058.
The other 14 pin connector is identified as IP057 and pin 1 is positive from the battery color is N/W (N=brown - W=white)
There is no amp on the base system, just the integrated audio module that you have pictured. Would it help you if I posted the wiring diagram for the base entertainment?
EDIT: oops, I reread and see that you have the schematics.

Thanks but no need to upload, I have the wiring diagram and have found what colour is what. :-) Waiting answer from the vendor about the speaker wiring on the android unit.
Okay, need some help Kurt!
Which connectors did you put the 2 most loop connectors on?
The short answer is the two on your right. The video plug that is part of the wiring loom with the green connector is the one that goes into the "Head Unit Replacement" component provided by the Seller (see pic below):
Put the loop connectors on the other two, and you've solved that part of the riddle.
Unless you can’t live without the wood, changing the center console bits to piano lacquer would go along quite well with the modern screen and solve the fake wood issue. I love burl woods and certainly couldn’t settle for simulated finishes.
One of the options when you order it is "wood" vs. "black" trim. I'm like you - I love the wood look in my Jaguar, so I passed on the black option, but you're correct in stating that going with that black option for the trim piece would have probably just blended in with the other black/super dark gray elements in the OEM dash. I'm still OK with my choice, and it get's less noticeable (to me) every time I drive the car now.

My vehicle has the Bose + amp setup, so mine were direct plug-n-play on the speaker wire loom. I added to the mess behind that dash by foolishly hooking up the old ACU wiring looms (they do nothing right now), but everything snapped directly into place with my new screen connectors.

I bought a while back a can of spray to darken rear lights(blacken out), I used it for something else. I'm going to try this on my trim piece and maybe by darkening it will look better. 😊
I can't find any burl walnut wrap that is close so might end up wrapping all pieces in carbon fiber or something. 😊
3M makes a gloss black vinyl that one member used (Peter aka Bruce the Quail) and he said it's a great match for piano black, following Jahummer's train of thought.

Well it could be the Images in this thread have grown on me. It could also be the Covid Lockdown talking or maybe the whiskey but I'm placing an order. I included the TPMS with my order. Thanks for the heads up on your vendor Peter. They were one of 4 on my list. Deleted them quickly.
Did anyone have customs fees to deal with or just the long wait times?
Sean, say it ain't so! You've done such great work on the GVIF/Android box solution, and now you're getting a divorce? Opting for the prettier model?
It'll take me a while to get over this one.

Reason: grammar
I will be keeping all the OEM and my GVIF stuff Bob, in case I want to revert or more likely in case I sell and a buyer wants OEM. But really, after I set up GVIF and incorporated touch, sound, GPS, others did the same with Arduino. Ultimately, Cambo came up with, in my opinion, the next level solution that retains the OEM look and that makes what I did look prehistoric. I may end up disliking it but I do loves me some electronic challenges.
If it ever comes down to something being essential-ish that's not on our cars already, like Android Auto or whatever, I may consider this or similar.
The new Bugatti Diva just came out, and it has Zero Big Screen stuff as to never go Out of Style with an antiquated interior scheme.
A couple of updates from "insights" gained in the last day or so:
1) The "speaker" device that I really couldn't decide what it was for ... has a purpose: it's the microphone for the hands-free bluetooth telephone operation. My "epiphany" came today when I was traveling to the grocery store talking with a buddy, and he asked me where my new mic was located (behind the radio, dangling on some wires).
Me: "Why do you ask?"
Tim: (Because his name is "Tim"): "Because I can hear your motor and your turn signals better than I can hear you. Call me back when you move that thing."
Me: "Well ______! That means yet I've got to pull that thing again!" (announcer's voice: "It's 4 bolts and one trim piece, you baby.")
That thing back there that looks like a speaker - apparently it's apparently the microphone!
2) Copying off my iTunes Library to a USB flash drive enables me to use the native "Music" app on the main page of the screen. It sounds as good as an iPod connected to my old ACM connection, so I'm happy with that.
Both of those guys posted ONLY about this infotainment option from Jump. Right off the bat they acted sketchy, and you notice neither are on here now. This has happened before with products NAVCRUEL sells, a new member joins and posts numerous things about how GREAT stuff is, then they vanish. A couple have been banished also, thanks to an observant moderator or admin.
You're good, dude. If you DO go for this option, I'd love to hear what you have to say about it. I do agree that the interior of our cars is quite a bit outdated on the technology front.
I thought I was pretty detailed , went to all the trouble to explain the experiences to help others but yet still be labelled as sketch ? Seriously ..... it still baffles me ...... I even followed up and answered as many questions as possible ....
really ??? What was suspicious about sharing and being one of the first people to fit this kind of screen in the car and share the details and experiences about it ??? With pictures , answer people’s questions and try help others ???

I agree with what Cee Jay said about "Luke Martin" and "PrivilegedJaguar". Their posts are suspicious, and scammers are professionals at separating people from their wallets.
This is a perfect example of "Buyer Beware!" Know that you can lose all your money and wind up with an expensive doorstop, and if that's OK with you, then go for it! It's your money and your choice.
