Hi, taking my 2008 XKR in for any annual service at 70000 km. Apart from normal oil change and check brakes, is there anything else I should be checking/changing?
We don't have enough information to give you any specific advice regarding the maintenance that should be done on your 2008 XKR, except that it's a 15 year old used car that we know nothing about. What could possibly go wrong?
If you are not the original owner, don't have all the service records, dont know when all the fluids were changed, or know if it had any accidents or other damage, then your car needs a comprehensive inspection by a qualified Jaguar technician, including but not limited to, stored DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes). See this 165-Point Certified Pre-Owned Checklist for details:
This CPO Checklist is used by Jaguar dealers in North America. You're in South Africa, and I have no idea if there's anything similar there. The above checklist will give you food for thought.

Welcome to the forums Gazinsky,
The low odometer reading means it should be serviced on a TIME basis which is every 12 MONTHS. If it has a fully documented service history, it will be due its fourteeenth service which is the 'B' schedule (see the link to the schedules in post #2).
If the provenance is unknown or the service history incomplete then I would certainly change ALL fluids and inspect (and replace where necessary) all rubber components in the cooling and suspension systems.
