That was a great find u102768 , how did you come across it. I will call into the jag dealer this evening and see what he comes up with now. In the picture the rear diffuser looks a bit different in color on these cars is it carbon fiber i wonder, hardly.

You've got the numbers for the side skirts, rear bumper and diffuser, what else do you need?

The boot spoiler, p/n C2P17584XXX "XKR-S to B44939" it's different to the Speed Pack & Aero Pack numbers.

The front bumper / nosecone is the same p/n as the regular XKR. I can't find any numbers for a three-piece front splitter listed for the 4.2L XKR-S though...

The only three-piece front splitter I can find is for the Aero Pack from B44940 onwards;

RH: C2P22272XXX
Middle: C2P22276XXX
LH: C2P22274XXX

Not sure if that'll fit an earlier car?

Or there is an "accessory" body kit, that's not listed as being for the XKR-S, from VIN B32753 to B44939 (2010MY?), based on the VIN given earlier that is not going to fit the 2008 model? it has a 3-piece front splitter listed I would guess the same one that you showed drawings of earlier.

There is also an accessory 1-piece front spoiler for cars up to B32752, that p/n is C2P8118XXX but in the catalog drawing, it does not really look like the spoiler from the car shown in the OP.

I don't know, it's all a bit confusing.

I have no idea about the rear bumper/diffuser.

It's odd that a special p/n for the bumper is allocated to the 2008 XKR-S & is not used on any other XK, was there a Blackpack/Speedpack on the 4.2L cars? because the same diffuser is mentioned for Blackpack/Speedpack, but it could be that it is a direct fit on the 5.0L cars, but not the 4.2L models...

Funny i'm on a live chat with justjags uk and have sent him the link showing the car for sale with the kit. he sent me pictures of what my dealer gave me, i told him that it was the wrong kit, so he said he would have to ask somone else at jaguar uk and e-mail me. If i worked in a jaguar garage i would have my knowledge on models built up. Some of these guys no nothing, about one end of a jag to another.

There was no Speed Pack option for the 4.2 cars, as far as I'm aware. The 2008 XKR is an oddball - there were only 200 made, and I believe the aero kit was specially developed for the model to allow it to handle the 174 mph top speed. It was evolved for the 75, and then it became the Speed Pack.

Anyway, most Jag shops have never seen a 4.2 R-S, and then things were muddied by the release of the 5.0 R-S. So it's not surprising people get confused.

OK Ngarara, some yes or no questions,
If i ordered the sills that are on your car will the fit mine.
Does your diffuser come separate from your bumper. That is if i ordered the same diffuser would i get it on my rear bumper.
And i know the front bumper is different, but maybe a bit of modification and it would fit.
Have sent you a PM if you get a chance to get back to me on it.

I can only say: dunno. I've never fitted a body kit to a 2007 XKR (or anything else, for that matter). You need someone with expertise in bodywork mods, and preferably an expert that's done it before. I can only tell you what mine has:
  • The rear diffuser fits between the exhausts; I think it's a direct replacement for the lower valance (under the bumper).
  • There are sill extensions between the rear arches and the exhausts; presumably they bolt/clip on.
  • There are sill extensions between the arches on each side, under the doors.

I suspect all of these would fit yours, as I can't imagine there are significant differences at the rear or on the sides. It's the front that's trickier, because the nose of the 5.0s is different. Of course, you can make anything fit with enough skill, patience and filler - I've even seen the front spoiler of an X150 XKR grafted onto an X100 XKR (nasty!), but I bet it was a pain.

But I'd counsel against parting with your hard-earned just because I "think it might".

I checked your part numbers and you finally have the correct rear diffuser! I can't speak for the rocker panels as when I look up those part numbers they are showing as the complete rocker panel assembly #1 on the pic below

.

I still do not think the front splitter is correct as it was a one piece for the 4.2 cars and 3 piece for the 5.0 litre.

I can't figure out if the panel in that drawing is the normal rocker/sill, or whether it's the extended one.

Yes sills don't look right, it may be a lost cause on them.

You can't trust the drawings in the catalogue, quite often it's a generic drawing that does not show the detail of the individual parts. For example the boot spoiler, four different designs but it only shows a picture of one.

I do believe the rocker panels / side skirts are the right ones;

1. The p/n's start with JLM, whereas regular XK parts start with C2P or C2S. Other 2008 XKR-S specific parts also start with JLM e.g. the rear bumper cover.

2. The p/n's is the same as the Blackpack/Speedpack

3. The rocker panels listed are nearly 5x the price of the ones off the standard XKR, why else would the price be so high?

Right i finally think i have it. Chris at Mina Gallery got back to me and said,
yes, we have that full kit available. The price shipped by fedex air would be 1800 USD. Here is an image of our actual kit installed (front, sides, and rear).
I recognized the car and it is fellow member GhostriderXKR08. He hasn't been on the forum for some time so not much hope of contacting him.
So all sorted I think.

Well that's certainly cheaper than the OEM option!

With the money you save you can buy a set of Vortex wheels

There seems to be a few designers doing different types of kits for the xk. Just found this company in the UK doing a replacement diffuser, any opinions on it.
