2009 XKR Portfolio prices are going up! This convertible with 31K miles sold for $40,850 last January on Bring-A-Trailer. It did not have the optional Adaptive Cruise ($2,200) or Alcon Performance Brake Package ($5,000).

Did you buy used? The rear offset is probably from the XF wheels as they are marketed as "Fit XK" but they don't because of offset.

Just bought a 2009 Portfolio Edition! I was looking for an XKR but came upon this one at a dealership in Rhode Island. Runs great, no rust, very nice with a few little cosmetic issues, 76,000 miles. Now resides in the comfort of my garage in Virginia.Stablemate to a rare Saab 97x Aero and my Legend Lime Mustang.
It has-
Coupe version
Shadow gray exterior
Charcoal interior w/cranberry stitching
Oak interior trim
Adaptive cruise
20" Selena wheels
Standard brakes

One sold recently, a little sad...

Only went for $11,000! What a ****ing steal. First one I'm aware of selling since I bought mine a year ago. Prior to that there was one on BaT A few months prior to buying mine (4/2023) that went for $22,000 I believe.
Anyone else aware of recent sales?

Don't get excited about this unbelievable bargain purchase. If it seems too good to be true ... well, you know the rest.
That 2009 XKR Portfolio had 106,000 miles on it and the ad stated
This is sketchy. It's not clear that this vehicle actually sold for $11,000, only that the auction ended. No VIN was included in the ad.
Looks fraudulent to me.

If you dig down, it lists a VIN # of SAJWA46C699B29647. I think that’s supposed to be SAJWA46C099B29647, (judging by the VIN # for my car). Also, there’s a nasty scrape on the left rear fender. It doesn’t look too bad, but it’s probably a $3000 job at a body shop to smooth it out and feather the new paint in to the quarter panel.

It had 109k miles but was well maintained inside and out. Lots of interest. Sorry to see it go, good memories. FYI - BAT declined to list it. Not sure why (milage?); they listed my 2001 BMW 7401 with 160k miles No Reserve without question.
Good luck out there XKR Portfolio fans; not many left!

2009 XKR Portfolio Coupe: 1 of 482
Good evening, first post.
I have owned my 2009 XKR Portfolio for a couple years now. Just ticked over 100k kms. I'm actually the third owner and it has been extremely well looked after. Used as backup when my 2008 X358 3.5 V8 plays up. If it's not her then it's the 2009 Range Rover SC. Good engines generally!
In the glove box of my XKR there is a beautiful leather bound wallet in Portfolio matching cranberry stitching that contains and aluminium plaque stating Limited Edition 1 of 482.
This may go against accepted norm that 480 were produced. The plaque is signed by a Regional director for the MENA (Middle East and North Africa). The car has been purchased and spent its life in Dubai. I intend to gather more details via the local dealer when I find a moment.
Be happy to provide more details if I can.
Warm regards, David

Welcome to the Registry! It's interesting that 482 2009 XKR Portfolio Models were produced for the Middle East market.
For the North American market, a total of 380 2009 XKR Portfolio Models were produced, of which 180 were coupes and 200 were convertibles.
How Rare Is My 2009 XKR Portfolio Convertible?

A couple possibilities.
1) The 482 listed by Jaguar MENA is all left hand drive models. If Jaguar NA got 380, that leaves 102 for the rest of the left-hand drive world. I think this is low probability.
2) Jaguar MENA is part of a larger region that doesn't include North America. For example, it is common to lump Europe, Middle East and Africa into one sales region.
