A failing battery possibly the result of a heavy drain while the car is shut off? Have a brand new Bosch battery. 720 CCV. Clean connections. Charges easily to 13.6. Stays that way when disconnected. Connected? Drops to 12.4 overnight.

Have you asked in the X100 Forum? You're in the X150 Forum, for 2007-2015 XK/XKR models.
