Default 2010 XK coolant leak

Was driving my (new to me) 2010 XK when I got a “coolant level low” warning, followed by a “engine overheating”. Immediately stopped and turned off engine. Coolant level was extremely low. Towed it home. Just pressure tested and can see water coming out the bottom center of vehicle (see link for pics). Water pump was done in 16’ but only 4K miles ago. Do you think water pump could have failed again? Any tips for diagnosing?

A leak of that size would indicate something like a hose/fitting rather than WP but it warrants greater investigation.

Yeah I agree looks like a hose blew.

Do you think it’s worth jacking it up and trying to find myself? I do have the workshop manual, and am pretty savvy.

At this point you have nothing to lose. Just got to remove all of the plastic panels under the front and with a leak that bad it shouldn't be hard to find and fix the problem.

It's ALWAYS worth having a look yourself before passing the vehicle over for repair. If you can fix it - money saved. If you can't fix it then you already know exactly what it needs.

I would agree with the others that if it were to be the water pump (and I've had four of them replaced including one that didn't last 60 days), it would seep you to death slowly and not a rapid loss of coolant. Most likely a hose, a fitting or nipple, or a leaking tank.

The upper radiator hose is usually the first to gi,
I have a 2010, same thing,

The upper hose is easy to change, the plastic
Fitting in the middle hose has a weak point
And fails first, next will be your water pipe behind
The engine, a little bit harder to change
But took me an hour or so. I would order both.

Default Similar leak- '10 XKR

I just found this 3-year-old thread after looking for details on a leak I found two nights ago in my garage. I drove the Jag only about six or seven miles and parked it in the garage and then an hour later found this puddle. For context, the puddle starts nearly dead center of the car between what looks like the cats. I haven't yet gotten under the car, but can anyone give me any firsthand experience on what leaks you may have found and where? And then what type of parts I should prepare to replace?

Also, this coolant looks super thin and watered down. Is that common for coolant in this car? I've had the Jag for 1.5 yes and this is something I did not previously baseline.

Thanks in advance.
