Hi does anyone have any experience in disabling keyless entry ? I'd prefer to do this from a security perspective. I know on other Jag models it can be done from the key fob but I can't find anything definitive on how to do it for the 2009 forward XK.
thank you in advance

Remove the battery from the smart key. You'll then have to place the key inside the slot within the center console every time you want to use the car.
You also CAN disconnect the sensors in both doors and the boot, but that takes a good bit of work.
You do know that using the key blade in the doors and such will most likely cause the door lock covers do disappear, right?
It may be folly to disable the passive unlock, they are pretty dang secure.

Get a Faraday pouch on Amazon for a few bucks and test it out. My kid just had his 2019 Accord ripped off by cloning his fob. How do we know this? LAPD called and said that his car was in a police impound lot and it was spotless. This was after insurance wrote him a nice check. Fast forward a few days and 2 detectives show up to his door and ask him if he recently sold a 2019 Honda Accord. Thief's not only stole the car but printed a fake title and sold it on CraigsList for cash. New 'owner' had it sitting in front of his apartment on a city street with no plates because he hadnt had the time to take it to DMV. Well a LAPD cruiser stopped to investigate why a car has no plates, rant he VIN and had it towed.
Now he has a Faraday pouch, an Air Tag and a Samsungtag2 both hidden on the car.........and good insurance.
