As the title suggests this is a 2011 silver 19,000 mile XK that I ran across today on BRING A TRAILER for sale at auction. The auction started today and will run for 7 days. Sorry for the lack of a link...beyond my skill level. Car looks great in the photos. 2011 model typo...sorry again.

The pictures look good don't you think? Care to take a guess as to what the top bid will be? We could start a poll....winner gets a pint of Guinness!!

BAT has gotten crazy prices lately and at times for somewhat forgettable cars. I'd say 30K+ is not unreasonable as our XKs have finally seen their values increasing this past year for exceptional low mileage cars.

Your perspective should be correct, however, the low, low mileage on this car may catapult the price way over average. The 2011 XK 5.0 L made 385 hp vs the 2009 4.2 L XKR with 420 and did this of course without the supercharger, so a potential buyer can see the extra value of the low mileage without the complexity of the supercharger. High mileage cars just don't appear to be pulling the dollars. You may very well be correct, but it will surprise me. It it goes for that, that would be a good buy.

I've been watching the x150 market for the past three years, that said today's prices are inflated by comparison.
I think that 24k is probably a reasonable price in today's market...but add Bat Buying OneUpsManShip and there is very little logic other than 'I want it and I can pay for it' and the alignment of the stars.
