Hi guys can i retrofit 2011 xkr 16 way adjust seats in a 2007 xk with 10 way seat adjustment?

 

I don't recall anyone who has done exactly what you want to do. I doubt that it's a straight away, easy swap since there are differences between those seats. Sensors in the seat communicate with the airbags, programming may be needed, the seat controls, electrical connectors, and modules may be different, etc.

Anything can be done with enough money. But does it make sense to do it?

 

Did the 07 offer 16 way adjustable seats from the factory? If not, I wouldnt try it.

 

The connectors from the switches are completely different and will not fit the newer seats. You CAN make the swap but retain the 10-way seats, but you'd have to pin-out every connector and make your own.

 

Yes can be done

Either hard wired in or new connector harnesses made up and SDD is a must to reprogram .

Make sure the seats come with the 16 way modules as most wreckers remove them and you'll also need the 16way adjustment that sit in the door trim

I am about to remove 2010 black XKR seats and switches out of a car. Let me know if you want to buy them.

I can include the wiring connectors so you can re-pin them if needed.
