Hello All,

I recently replaced the coolant expansion tank on my 2011 XKR175 because it had a large crack in it. After replacing the tank, the sensor has been reading low and doesn’t change. I tried changing out to the sensor from the old tank that I know works but that didn’t fix the issue. I’m worried that the connector got damaged during installation. I called the local dealership and they said the connectors can’t be purchased separately and only come as part of an entire harness. I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this issue and/or knows a part number for the connector that can be used as a replacement.

Try a Hard Reset, or maybe clear something with an OBD2 scanner.

 

I have tried resetting with an OBD2 scanner but haven’t yet tried a hard reset, thanks for the suggestion!
