Essentially yes. The mounts, air pump, etc, all appear to be the same but I have just noticed that the vacuum hose is specific to the XKR-S as well (C2P22075).

Not sure why but maybe the valve actuators have a different shape or size connector.

just read the post #6
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...xhaust-192443/

he XKR-S rear muffler has larger diameter pipes coming out of it, larger valves, larger tips which are polished. Internally they are different as well, it's open inside with one of the pipes removed, the other pipes being larger than the standard XKR one.
The 5.0 XK, XKR and XKR-S centre pipes and rear mufflers are all interchangeable, same diameters, same fitment. You can put an XKR-S rear muffler on an XK, the XKR-S centre pipe bolts up to the standard XKR rear muffler, etc

I hope that is true

It is the hose that connects the vacuum pump to the actuators that closes the exhaust valves. I have just had a look at mine and the connection on the actuator is just rubber tubing so I am sure you could fabricate something if you needed to especially as it is around $150.

If you are after a louder exhaust then you wouldn't need to worry about connect the vacuum pump anyway as the valves are open by default. Just pull fuse 19 in the fuse box behind the rear seat back, if you haven't already.
