The 0 was my bad - cause i have asked them if in 2014 there where some XK-RS build - since they have still build XKs and XKRs in 2014 - last year of production if i am correct.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do a breakdown by colour and trim.

As there has not been any confirmed independent second source that these numbers are accurate, I will continue my research into this subject, and assume that this is the best information available to date.

 

2014 and 2015 are simple not possible any more - cause the production ended before

Perhaps the cars where registered then.

 

The numbers shown are for the MY (Model Year), which is the year shown on the registration in the North American markets. Usually the new MY models start being built about mid-year of the previous years' date. (So a 2015 model usually starts to be built around May to August of 2014 and is simply called a 2015 model or MY 2015.) The actual manufacture date is shown on the door placard on NA cars, and will show the month and year it was built. Production of the XKR-S ended mid 2014, while the cars were still being marketed as MY 2015. There are still some "new" XK, XKR, & XKR-S cars for sale in the US and Canada.

As for the convertibles i am surprised that i was told 168 and you 394 ..............

 

Yes, the numbers are for global production.


(And note, they include the below quantity of XKR-S GT cars with the coupes, as the VIN does not appear to differentiate the GT cars in any way from the other XKR-S's.)


Interestingly, as I have voiced in some other posts my skepticism of the total quantity of XKR-S GT cars built...here again is the best information I have seen to date for these.

It’s interesting how few they made and sold.
I guess my 2015 XKR-S convertible production of only 22 (If accurate) is quite rare.
