2014 C&D Lightning Lap: How did our Jags do?

The track has been repaved since and estimates are that cars are 2-3 seconds per lap quicker on it now. So you can't really compare 2014 directly to any previous year, but that also would indicate the new Jags aren't really any quicker than the XKR-S. I think some other tests indicate that they actually are, so not sure how to take these results. Viewed my first F on the highway the other day and followed and passed it so I could appreciate it from every angle. My personal impressions?...geez it makes the XK all the more desirable!

I ran into a old friend at a golf outing last week and after seeing my car he told me that he works part time at Monticello Motor Club in NY. He said they have a fleet of XKR and XKR-S cars at the track for their members and they love them. They just also received a few F-Types and they have a stable of others like Ferrari's and lotus' and so on. Unfortunately the membership is out of my budget but the track looks great and would be fun to drive. Take a look here Monticello Motor Club

Jagtoes,
Monticello looks great, a back woods drive on a race track, what a great idea. I have done Audi track events at a similar type of venue in Pahrump, Nevada about a half hour outside of Las Vegas. It's called Spring Mountain. Step by step they are turning it into a family resort, soon to be adding a hotel, golf course, etc. in addition to adding new tracks.

These track oriented resorts are great for the people wanting to track their cars. A little pricey but I'm sure members with $500,000-$1,000,000 in cars will enjoy the opportunity to legally and safely test their cars. Would also be a great corporate outing experience.
