I would not use Castrol not blended for Jag, there is a massive difference in blends, that dont show on paper but they do in testing.

If your engine gets anywhere within 100 degrees of those temps, you've got a far bigger problem on your hands!
Wondering what your oil will look like after your car burns to the ground is kinda pointless.

That's hardly a controlled test, nor is it particularly relevant to a modern passenger car.

That is exactly what every engine looks like on the inside, even the ones I have meticulously maintained and taken apart. So the test is a perfect recreation of the conditions that lead to sludge.
Some additional info:
He is heating the oil to 400 degrees.
This should be the temperature of pistons in our 5.0 forced induction. Most likely higher.
This is where oil sits in the galleys after you turn the engine off.

You know, "SEARCH". It's quite a handy thing if you are able to master the intricacies of clicking a link and typing "oil" into the box that appears. Are you man enough to attempt that great feat???

Sir, you have a warped sense of self-worth, or something similar.
The Search is there for a reason, and that is to AVOID multiple threads on the same old categories.
I'm not here for a fight, just merely stating the PROPER way to use this (and all other) forums.
I hope I have enlightened you to proper etiquette, and may all your future endeavors be successful.

Simply go to Google and either say or type "Jaguar X150 Forums" (don't forget the "s", there's another website without it) followed by the key words for what you want to know.
How difficult was that?
Give a hungry man a fish, and he won't be hungry for an hour. Teach him how to fish, and he'll spend the whole day in a boat drinking beer!
