Finally got a decent recording of my timing chain cold start noise,
some days are worse than others. Does this sound normal??

That's really bad. I feel for you.
The most common problem with the earlier 5.0 tensioners is the alloy insert which forms the pad against which the hydraulic tensioner operates. Being relatively soft, this wears until the tensioner runs out of travel. Why JLR thought that saving a few grams by not using a steel insert was a good idea is beyond me.

Dear Tarokyama,
I also feel for you with this issue and I so much appreciate that you keep us updated on this.
I understand your car suffering this issue is a 2010 XK. Not sure you mentioned your mileage though - I would be very interested to know at what mileage you started to notice the chain noise issue on startup.
Not without reason I am following here with great interest. I drive a 2011 XK with approx. 35k miles on the odo (it has the narrow version of the chain as visible trough the oil filler hole, see pictures above).

UPDATE, my mechanic suspects injector failure,
and not timing chain, I did do the valve cover gaskets
and clean injectors mechanically 3 weeks ago.
Upon stalling I had tons of smoke out the exhaust.
which is why he suspects injector failure, (common)
I will update after he does a compression test and inspects
The valves and injectors.
Mileage is 69k

If the exhaust smoke was black, then yeah, probably injector.
As a caveat to that, all the raw fuel in the exhaust can easily foul the catalytic converter. Watch for codes once your car is running again. Also maybe as a pre-emptive, run a can or two of Catalytic Converter Cleaner through the fuel.

Pulled spark plugs from cylinder 1 and 2 on drivers US side,
heres what I got any thoughts?
Im changing all the spark plugs and 1 bank of injectors
apparently removing injectors with the alide hammer is
detremental to your injectors
Im back up and running and my fuel trims on one bank
have zerod out at idle. Amazing.
70k miles original plugs after injector failure and engine flood.
