5.0 XKR doing strange things - battery?

Hi Guys.
Over the past couple of days my XKR (facelift 5.0) has started doing some strange things.
1. When I start the car the engine fires, but the Rev counter starts dropping below zero slowly, then all of a sudden fires up in to the normal position. The screen etc seem laggy on start up too.
2. Shifts feel a bit jerky at low speed and when using manual downshifts at low speed, the car is sometimes blipping the throttle but then actually making the shift too late after the blip.
3. I got in to the car today and when I started it there was a random destination in the sat nav, nobody else has used the car and I didn't put it in.
4. I seem to be getting some new buzzing noises etc in the cabin.
Does this sound like a dying battery? I know the XK's seem to go a bit crazy with low voltage?
Cheers.

Yes, it definitely sounds like a battery issue, but have you ever seen a "battery voltage low" message on the driver's display? I am not sure at what thresh hold that comes up, but random electronic symptoms are definitely tied to lower-than-optimal voltage. The cure is always a new and fully charged battery or the use of a good battery maintainer (CTEK being one of the best) when the car is not actually in use. Hungry beasts these XKs!

Agree with sov211 it sounds like a low battery. Mine is a 2007 xkr with a new battery and a battery tender hard wired. When I plug it in everyday I have no issue's. If I leave it unplugged for a couple days air bag light comes on, passenger seat belt warning comes on. Back up sensors freak out when nothing is behind me. Plug in the tender and all is well. These cars must have a battery at 100% period.
