Ian Callum's inspiration for the X150 design was the Jaguar E-type, which did not have a Leaper on the bonnet (hood). For that reason, a Leaper on an X150 is like a zit on your nose.
P.S. Similarly, the E-type never came from the factory with a Leaper on the boot ( trunk).
Regardless, it's your car, your money, and your choice.

Is everybody in agreement that this is a good first step? I'll contact my shop to learn whether they can do this work, or know people that do within the area.

Look, bamaboy, I changed from a 991 TT convertible back to an XKR 4.2, going down from 500++ hp to 416 hp. Do you know what? I don’t miss a single hp. Especially the torque of the XKR is excellent. Then, thesetwo cars are very different animals.
I have to admit that, personally, I’d stay away from fiddling with the V8. I enjoy the GT character of the car much more than the speed and cornering capabilities of a 911. They make a difference on curvy country roads only, yet - I feel not inclined to kill pedestrians or hikers or bikers while testing the limits of my car.
However, to each his (/her) own!

I’d find a tuner first. Power train modifications won’t do you any good without one. Eurocharged only offered a generic canned tune available in the global database (not bespoke) and several members have expressed their disappointment with the results. I originally used a well known tuner and forum sponsor but that too was a very expensive disaster. Moderator Cambo’s bespoke tune’s spot on. You’ll have to reach out to him for more info. I can’t speak for anyone else’s. But as I said before, find a dyno so you can do before and after (same time you flash the tune which only takes minutes).

Since my search for a tuner shop isn't getting any hits that aren't an hour away, minimum, my research might have stalled out of a nod to logistics.

From the first couple of searches and in talking to two shops, this area is good for tuning American trucks and diesels. Not so much for anything exotic, and given the driving distance to any shop that might try it, I can see trip after trip, and that's not how I care to live my life.
Sport mode, paddle shifters, and the muffler actually makes good noise over 5,000RPM, so I'll be happy with what I have, I think....especially with your anecdotes about how many have tried tuning and been unhappy with their results.

There were so few of the X150 Denso 4.2 ECUs made for only 3 years, there was never enough market for them, a couple thousand of those VS millions of American and VAG vehicles says everything. The later Bosch ECUs found in the 3 & 5 litre JLR marque are easier to program and found in 12 years worth of every Jag and Rover model.

All is not lost! In your quest for improving your ride, you should remove Fuse 19 from the fuse box that's located in between the rear seats. That will keep the valves in your active exhaust always open, and let your kitty growl like it should.

Why do you want more power? Just for fun or do you consider the stock setup too anemic? Unless you're trying to build a race car, I'd leave it alone. The 4.2's infinitely more reliable and less costly to maintain than the 5.0 but if you like the idea of big power numbers, the 5.0 will go over 700 if you want it to. Your engine has a decent amount of use, so increasing power's going to accelerate wear and tear. If you want reliability, I'd prepare yourself to spend a decent amount of money to replace all of the 14-15 year old seals, gaskets, and hoses. You'll need more free flowing exhaust, smaller supercharger pulley, colder spark plugs and a tune. You'll need stickier tires and a Quaife LSD wouldn't be a bad idea. Basic tunes will get you about 25-40 HP, more bespoke tunes CAN get you up to 100 or more. Also plan on dyno time to keep track of changes. You could also fit a larger supercharger at get as much as 200 HP more, but expect to spend $15-20K for the custom work.
I would like to know where you get the 700 HP for the 5.0L???????
Most I have ever heard of is ~620-630 HP, with a tune, a pulley and a X-pipe.
Please enlighten me how this engine gets to 700 HP.

F-Type SVR with the same 5.0 litre fitted in everything from JLR was 700HP. There are several tunes with crazy power from this AJ-V8...
EDIT: Here's one...

EDIT EDIT: Even JLR said they would offer a factory tune of 700HP.... But there's several bespoke tuners with one available
